Can we hold them under 80? Under 90? Will AJB play? How about Hadaway?

I’m saying No, Yes, Yes, Yes. Going to be an optimist here and say that the return of 2 starters will propel us to a close victory. Something like 85-81.

Hopefully, Boals is just keeping Toledo guessing.

Doubtful either could contribute in a meaningful way, especially Hadaway.

Correct. I was talking more about Brown. I don’t think anyone was truly expecting Captain Chaos to get back for the tournament. But let’s face it… no Brown and have zero chance to make a run in Cleveland. I hope they prove me wrong.

No Brown=mercy game.

The only way we win is if we get hot from 3...like Sheldon at Memphis hot.

If he can put a body on someone, we're gonna need him. Even if its for 15 mins at 4-5 min increments.

Just to help those of you trying to make travel plans, I have no guarantees about Friday’s game, but we’re going to win Thursday. FYI

I have not seen any updates regarding AJ Brown or Hadaway as active for Thursday. I’m also trying to make plans for Friday, but it will be a long stretch if Brown isn’t playing.

Lose twice to Toledo, including our very last game and not at all close.
Be historically bad against Toledo in recent years.
Be absolutely terrible away from Athens all season.
Earn a worse seed than our opponent.
Be awful against the spread all year including many losses as favorites.
Throw in some injury uncertainty.

And what does Vegas do? Put Ohio as a 3.5 point favorite. Literally our most loyal optimist fan all season has been Vegas.

Maybe they know Hadaway and Brown are back and have been secretly practicing at full strength for some time????

I will tell you one dude who has to make it his mission to flush all these fools: Shereef Mitchell. He needs to use the disrespect of the MAC Postseason Awards and use it as his own Armon Bassett moment. All-Defensive Team is great but they couldn't even give him Honorable Mention? I saw Nate Johnson play this year--Reef is the best defender in the league PERIOD. Come on Reef, make like Tim Misny and MAKE.
THEM.

Chuckled when I saw that. I presume there is a bias in there for beating a team 3 times? I don't feel good about playing them, but strangely I feel better than I did last week. Just have to hope for Hadaway and/or AJB even if in small doses. Gonna be a grind and going 7 deep is always a risk.

I'm not sure Toledo could score on us any more easily if we just didn't go down the floor to play defense. Maybe we'll have some Todd K Cleveland Magic work in our favor and they'll have an uncharacteristic horrible shooting performance against us, but ffs, where is this confidence coming from against this team?

Vegas only cares about injuries so far as it affects betting. Apparently the bettors tend to favor the Bobcats given whatever they do or do not know.

Tell him whatever he needs to hear to go on a tear in Cleveland. Please. But yes he was selected Honorable Mention in addition to all defense. Seemed right to me.

All Vegas cares about is getting action and keeping it as close to 50/50 money as they can to ensure profits. I doubt there are throngs of MAC and OU fans laying enough money with knowledge of our injuries and history with Toledo that it moved the line much at all from their standard statistical model.

Tinfoil cap on.

Usually by now the social media posts pictures and video of shootaround at the Cavs' practice gym or St. Iggy. Nothing of the sort. Playing it close to the chest over who will be available???

We're better with AJB & Hadaway, but I don't think it actually impacts Toledo's gameplan, rotations, or how they defend us.
