There are already rough plans to add a large building/entrance to the front of the Convo that would serve as a visitor center, media lab and ground-level practice courts.
I’d settle for someone getting that green balloon out of the rafters. Been bugging me for a while. Not sure how it’s still up there.

Love the Convo. In hindsight, the last 6-8 rows that are more steep were probably overkill and the ideal design would've been just a little shorter roof but still over 10k seats. Now that they are already there, I don't see a practical way to get rid of them. Shab's point on lighting is a good one is an easy way to help bring eyes and cameras away from the top.

Surely the Alpha generation will put down the smart phones and game consoles and embrace live events as a revolution, and we'll see a boom in attendance

Not quite a perfect comp to Millett, but EKU's Alumni Coliseum is in the process of going through an interesting renovation. Phase I was completed in January and the Colonels finished their season playing in it.

BobcatAttach never fails. We are, besides experts on all things coaching, marketing, recruiting, popcorn, pretzels, hand dryers and now, 55 years too late, we are not architects. Not even sure why this places is not a mandatory class for the MBA/Sports Ad degree.
