The MAC has to have the softest refs. They are consistently inconsistent on both sides no matter who’s playing

This is not on the refs. Have you ever seen so many guys just put their head down and dribble into the lane have no clue what they’re going to do once they get there or not able to finish because they’re so small in the lane?

I really don't get that call against Shereef where he's standing his ground in the post and the guy barrels into him and it's a block. We've had that call go against us too many times this season.

Bad Sheldon stretch. Passes on an open 3, misses a layup, then poses no challenge when his man drives on the other end.

Don’t look now, but if things stay the way the are, we’re looking at a date with EMU on Thursday.

Frustrating watching games where our opponents score so easily. We rarely can mount comebacks because we rarely get stops or turns.

Elmore has kept us in this.

It might seem weird to want to face a team that we're 0-2 against, but I prefer them to Toledo, for sure.

Mitchell’s steal could’ve been game changing but being held to make sure he doesn’t get the ball certainly keeps that from happening.

Toledo and eastern Michigan both beat us twice this year. I’d say we are toast.
I am glad we only gave up 90 and not 100!

Epic disappointment of a regular season. What’s our record as a favorite this year? I don’t even want to know. I know they’ve dealt with injuries but this was an underwhelming team even when healthy.

We just don’t match up against Toledo or eastern Michigan. I can’t see is winning either of those games.
80+ points wins a lot of games. But not when you’re giving up 90s.

Against either of those teams, I say we slow the game down. The more more possessions they have the more they score.

Contrarian hypothesis: Boals is playing rope-a-dope these last few games to lull all the potential opponents into a sense of complacency. Then, in the three games that really matter, he'll really turn it on and coach like he's a combination of Johnny Wooden, Cam Henderson, Jerome Tang and Jim Snyder.

Ohio will play Toledo in the quarters. Doesn’t feel good after the last couple of games. Even if they do win, they’ll have Akron awaiting them.

The most frustrating and disappointing season in Ohio hoops history. Hahn final season with Snoopy Graham and Dave Jamerson is up there.

I know we had significant injuries, but not having a starting 25-30 minute big and not having Nicol, Kuany and Evans ready is on Boals. One of them had to contribute and it never happened.
