I will be attending the MAC tournament to support the Bobcats. After watching last nights game it looks like it may be a quick trip if AJ Brown doesn’t have a big night. I hope we can pull this off but looks like a tough path ahead.

Believe it if you want ....

But according to ESPN's gamecast winning predictions for the opening round games of the MAC Tournament:

Ohio - 63-percent
Miami - 77-percent
Akron - 83-percent
Kent - 85-percent

IMO -- ESPN does not know and/or does not follow MAC Basketball.

From the bottom up, Kent split with WMU and needed a missed 15-footer at the bzzer by WMU, a monster rebound game from Gillespie and a ton of missed WMU FTs to get that done.

Akron vs. BG, I'll buy that. But more like 75 percent in my book.

Miami split with Eastern, and Eastern is not only one of the hopptest teams, but have won their share on the road.

Ohio -- I think we all can ask questions about this one, considering the UT sweep and the margins of victories.

Frankly, would not be surprised if at least two teams pulled tournament upsets -- and Ohio over Toledo would be an upset in my book.
It's all based on ESPN's metrics and analytics. None of it is based on watching games. The numbers are largely determined by each schools schedule, who you defeat and lose against and the margins in which you do so.

So while we see Ohio losing twice to Toledo, dealing with injuries and struggling, they factor in that our first matchup was close and the Rockets have been equally bad of late and see a more even contest.

It's a good non-biased tool but there's flaws with it as well. The best way is to balance metrics with what your own eyes tell you.

Anyone know if the Bobcat ticket allotment is in Section 121 and 122. I get into the purchase and I never see Section, row or seat. Thanks!

Sorry if I seem repetitive, but doesn’t all this matter on AJ Brown and Hadaway being active? I feel like the stats go up based on their status for Thursday. I appreciate any feedback

Just got mine and they are in 123. Surprised they’re that far into the corner. Probably the worst I’ve had for MAC tournament. Usually the quarterfinals aren’t that much in demand, especially for an early afternoon game. Guess I’ll move into BGSU’s section after they lose 😜

What time do we think the bash doors will open? They say 2 hours prior to tip off. Assuming tip off at 1:30pm? So 11:30am for bash? Just trying to figure out if I’ll go watch some of Akron game before or after I go to bash.

Crap seats in section 123. Last year MUCH better.

Is it because a 5 seed? Is it because during the last 12 months donations to the Bobcat Club have displaced me? Or is it because the MAC tried to sell the better seats and stiff the allotment recipients?

How terrible is the bottom of the MAC?

8th seed allows 17 steals by Zips!!!

Fun one with EMU and Miami. Hawks had to sweat that one out.

Zero surprises.

All top 4 seeds advance in a horrible year for the conference.

Western cut a 19 point lead down to three with a minute to go. Three of the four games today had pretty good entertainment value. And three of the four teams tomorrow should have good turnout.
