I look forward to watching this one in the Convo!

We really need AJC to step it up in order to prevail.

We nearly pulled it off at Oxford without AJC so hoping he will make us that much better at The Convo.

If we don't hit the threes we struggle. Just 32% at MU. And gotta hit the freebies. 8 of 14 at the FT line vs WMU was a killer. Takes away the pressure defense option.

Getting a to-three spot in the tourney would be big. A four seed is the same as a five because the same two teams play no matter how they're seeded. But a three gets you against the six seed, which makes for a bit easier path to the semis. It also means you don't play the one seed until the championship game.

Muck Fiami.

We are up to 6.5 pt favorites, I know we're solid at home but that is a surprising number to me. Miami is +230 on the money line. A game the books think we should win.

Not too surprised by that, Fiami is pretty safely locked into the #2 seed. They don't have to sell out for this one.

It’s coaching malpractice that Boals is forcing a guy like Sheldon onto the floor who has zero confidence. Sheldon is now passing up open 3’s in games. If he’s now passing up open 3s, how can you play him?

If Brown separated his shoulder, that is officially the season for Ohio.

He was moving it some and trying high dribbles. Looked stiff doing it but wasn’t wincing.

Not ideal. I would hope the silver lining (outside of recovery) is the forced lineup of Searls/AJC in at the same time which we haven’t seen a lot of.

We can’t have nice things…period. Has to be fearing a separation or rotation cuff.

Just curious if anyone still thinks The Upgrade hasn’t been The Upgrade with big man productivity off the bench from previous two years? It was obvious back in November and way more obvious now. We don’t beat Kent and Miami at home without The Upgrade.

With Captain Chaos out and now it looks like Brown is out….the whiff on Ben Nicol looming very large now. Nicol not being able to even sniff some run with all of these injuries is incredible

It's true. Our staff's inability to hit on 100% of recruits, and their insistence on daring to recruit some guys that aren't ready day 1 but they hope to develop over time to get payback in the future, is completely unacceptable.

We should probably start looking for Boals replacement.

Oh - completely and totally off topic, but we won today and clinched a spot in Cleveland.

Didn't look good when it happened either.

If (crosses fingers he isn't) Brown is done for the year - if (and it's a big if) Boals manages to win ANY games in Cleveland minus Hadaway, minus Brown and with gimpy Clayton and gimpy Reef - the dude should get coach of the year votes.

Clayton was good Clayton today.

With Brown hurt, and Pavs bottled up - Vic Searls stepped up HUGE. 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists and battled Woolfolk (only 3 rebounds) and Elmer all night.

In addition to Vic, and he's been a whipping boy on here of late, but we don't win that game without EJ4's 12 points either.
