I don't know how many times I thought/said this but it's a Tuesday night conference road game in February. Never easy! Two of the Cats' weaknesses - inconsistent rebounding and not stopping the ball defensively are rearing their heads. Both of those lead to some threes. Have to scratch and claw to get it done. I saw an E squared post; I know he has great game, and he and Brown are going to be quite a duo, but he plays like a freshman and James doesn't. Both are needed as this ride continues. Let's go 'Cats!

I give up on projecting this team. One of the most inconsistent groups I've ever seen. Have the ability to defeat the best teams in the league and then lose ugly games against some of the worst squads in the MAC...

Awful loss with Toledo loss to Kent. Could have taken 3rd place. And Rob Murphy is a HORRENDOUS color guy.

Total team effort loss. But if 23 doesn’t show up, we have no chance in Cleveland. He gets benched again. One of the most frustrating Ohio players to watch over a four year stretch.

These last five minutes were Murphy's Law in action LOL. Almost comical how everything that could go wrong (whether our fault or just plain bad luck) went wrong.

At least we're not Toledo. They just got blasted by 40 (!!!) to Kent State.

I don't want to hear about difficult MAC road games. The conference is abysmal this year. This Ohio team is mentally weak and has wasted every opportunity given to them this season.

I'm a mostly positive person regarding them and still think they can go on a run in Cleveland but this is the most disappointing Bobcats squad I've watched since I first came to Athens in 2009. They have time to fix it but this is frustrating as hell!

This is one of the best summaries I've read.

This conference is so bad. Akron is not very good and they look like the cream of the crop. We should never lose like this in Kzoo.

The expectations are so low right now, I can't believe how far we've fallen.

Obviously, you never played basketball with plantar fasciitis. The fact he's out there playing says a lot.

We lost based on missed FT's down the stretch and the inability to finish about 5 times at the basket in the last few minutes. Never mind we lost every stat but turnovers.

Newsflash… I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur right now. I know it is painful. There is only one way for it to heal and that is to take a couple weeks off. If Clayton really has this problem, he should’ve been on the bench for two weeks so he was ready for the tournament. At this rate, he will never be 100%. Less than hundred percent he is just an Average MAC player.

By the way, we lost because our defense sucked and we can’t rebound.

I would still be saying that without PF. It’s not like he was playing fantastic all season before the injury. His play was disappointing when he was 100%.

I can take much more than a couple weeks to heal. But him trying to gut it out I assume is that going with Searls and Evans was not even a remote possibility in Boals mind.
