Would be really disappointing to be winless in this tourney.

From what I am seeing we are winning the M*A*S*H award going away. More braces splints and casts than anyone here.

It's disappointing to lose PERIOD but going 0/3 does not bother me given the effort I am seeing. In State I'd Jekyl and Hyde so far in their games and scrimmages so you do not know who will show up. Well coached with good personnel.

As long as they compete and take lessons and experience away I'll be OK... But it would be nice to notch the win. Time for the pgs to grow up a little. Scott will run them if they don't. It has been an interesting weekend and we/I have learned much about this team and it's parts. Gonna be a long one. Time to coach em up

Indiana State has played very poorly in the tournament. Losses of 83-64 to Auburn and 62-44 to Old Dominion. That was of course after they opened the season prior to the tournament with a 90-69 rout of Indiana.

Playing ACC, A10 and now MVC in this tourney. Nice to see us against non-conference competition for once.

Agreed. We need more Indiana States and fewer Alabama A&Ms. This was a great field. Not a bad team in the bunch. In the immortal words of Andrea True "More, more, more..."

We are missing a strong low post presence.
Until Carter returns we will continue to struggle. Period

I'm optimistic we can end the tourney on a strong note and pull off a W today.

Agreed, it's been a great handful of days of family, friends and basketball. Looking forward to one more before heading back north.

Anyone know of an extra ticket available today?

If we lose Mickle for an extended period of time or the season we may go winless until Carter gets back.

I am more proud of this team in a double overtime loss than I was for any game in DJ and Walt's senior year. If those teams or the past few years teams had the heart of this year's group they would have made the NCAA Tournament. We played 3 quality opponents and gave them all a huge collective heart attack. I hope the rest of the MAC is looking at us and thinking we are going to roll over because they are in for a long season. Mike Laster has been outstanding and given what he's playing with in terms of being the lone leader he has to go down as one of the all-time fan favorite Bobcats.

Not so fast.

To 3OT we go.

LOL to 4OT. This is just funny and stupid now. Somebody win already.

Tell you what, this team isn't very good but they play hard and are easy to root for. Kirk saved us in that last stretch.

Incredible game. Incredible individual efforts from Dartis, Laster, Block, and Kirk. All 4 played at least 49 minutes.

Holy crud....I posted my pride after OT #2..now after a WIN I cannot be more proud. Have we had such a gritty, hard fought, tough win?

These are the types of games that can change the trajectory of a whole season. Talk about something to build off of as the season gets started. I suppose a lot of people will claim they were there. I wish I could say I was. To be down that much at half and then withstand 4 OT's and win. Amazing!

Down 18 in regulation, down 8 in the 2nd OT. We had 4 big men hurt and the 5th one fouled out, and we still pulled it out. Stinks that it is buried on a Sunday when probably not a lot of people were watching, but wow that was a great game.

I've been begging 4 years for a better home schedule, and I know the staff tries. It's just very tough when you are a minor league team in the middle of nowhere...

This. Team gets a great bonding experience spending a week together on the road. Plays some "big boys" tough - but to top it all off with pulling out this 4OT game - has to be a data point for this team growing up and coming together.
