Could we somehow end up with a game against Dayton in this tourney anyways since they aren't playing well?

If they both win or both lose Thursday, they'll play Friday. Otherwise, they'll be on different sides of the bracket.

Since we know Ohio is gonna get rolled on Thursday, I'll be rooting for the Flyers to get the Thursday win, and maybe get to one of the two late games on Sunday. I'll be packing a lot of basketball fan gear for this weekend.

Clemson doesn't look to be overkill big, but big enough that they'll be able to lean on our thin front line pretty heavily. Expect to see a lot of drives and kicks and a lot of threes from Ohio. Hopefully we can connect better than we did Saturday. Playing in a small gym may help us more than them, if they're used to playing in a big one.

Just playing Devil's advocate, I think Littlejohn Coliseum is smaller than The Convo. Making a bunch of 3's could even the odds.

Good point, but playing on the road in the MAC is more what I was referring to as opposed to what they see in the ACC.

Not much to lose on this one so, let Jordy and James let it rip and see where the cards fall...

Unfortunately, I'm thinking the same thing.

Actually could be a pretty brutal non conference season this year.

Littlejohn is smaller with more intimate sidelines and a more closed in shooters background. Was last in there in 2013. Looking forward to the trip. Not looking forward to the inevitable drubbing were going to see this week

May not be a lot to lose but we've got a lot of work to do as a team. Would love to see the team move the ball and those shots will come.

Good run today guys. Played very, very well with a thin lineup. Once JC gets back in there and the new guys are even more acclimated, they'll be fine. I Like what I saw against Clemson.

Liked what I saw from Dartis, Block, Laster and Kirk. Unfortunately, too undersized. Not sure what DT brings to the table. Mickle is looking to be a good one-year pickup by Saul.

Hurts not having the two big frosh and Carter as part of the rotation.

Thought for a moment we were going to lose Dartis to a leg injury on a defensive close-out in the second half. Good to see him return to the court. I'm predicting in mid-November of his junior year that he'll lead the country in FT% before he's done in Athens.

Think we had 10 pts from the line, they had 23 (yes, I know some of that came when we fouled at end of game.) Out rebounded. TO's were tied at 11 according to stats I saw. We protected ball much better in second half.

So disappointing to see nothing from Doug but fouls. I know he works hard, wish there was more to show for it.

Kirk, 6 assists and 2 TO's, 5 of 11 from field. Hard to complain there. He could be a good one.

Until the cavalry arrives in the form of Carter and the two big fresh, rebounding will be a problem.

No one got more out of his game than Block...what an effort!

Key points after 2 games:
1. Gavin Block is Treg Setty-Plus..gives ao much
2. Jordy HAS to score 15 per game for us to be successfyl
3. Mickle is better than Doug..both are keys but Mickle is more confident
4. Kirk WILL BE MAC frosh of year
5. If Butler or Gollon become dependable to score we will dominate
6. If ee had JC and one of the 2 of AJ and BVP we beat clemson

This team will be undermanned for the entire non-conference slate, but they will compete every nite. That is what they need to do. Get the grit and build that toughness. They get a little help second half of season they will be stronger after getting plenty of playing time for young guards. The extra playing time for Taylor should make him a force in MAC play inside.

Bobcat1998, Ohio is not going to dominate with or without Butler or Gollon becoming dependable.

"The extra playing time for Taylor should make him a force in MAC play inside."

OubobcatJohn, with or without extra playing time, Taylor will not be a force in MAC play inside.

You smoke too much green dope. Block is a nice player but it will be a long time before we see another Treg.

We will not have a freshman of the year this year.

If's and if's . Kind of like we'll win a MACC in 2019 in football.
