I'm looking forward to seeing him get a chance to show what he can do with a healthy season.

A great story.

I know to the outside world, expectations for the team are low but to me, it seems that the ceiling is pretty high. IF (as always, that's the major qualifier) Ohio can get healthy, its one team I wouldn't want to face in mid to late February.

I agree with you. I'm frustrated (and I'm sure coaches and players are too!) by the idea that the conversation continues to be "If Ohio is healthy" then they'll be really good. I don't recall this many injuries for a basketball team as I've seen for Ohio in the last 2-3 years.

I liked him when I worked there. The thing I really liked about the kids Saul is bringing in is that these kids are good folks. This might be me sitting on a soapbox, but always a polite kid to us in the department. Hopefully this kid gets to show what he can do.

I agree that he doesn't look like the same person. He looks much stronger and more athletic.

It tares me up sew much to sea that. If copy editors are aloud to rely on spell check alone, they will have a lode of errors like that byte them in the but, great on readers and leave yoke on their faces.

Really interested to see JG make strides this year. Have him spot up somewhere, let Zach, Teyvion or Jordy drive and kick. Make it rain, James.

And "the kids Saul is bringing in is that these kids are good folks" should not be underestimated as an important part of his role, and that of the teams on campus. Unless I'm mistaken, since Saul's arrival (and Boldon's for that matter), there have been very few moments that have caused black eye's for the university.

It's really, really easy for me to root hard for players who are great kids. Like GoCats said, stand out beyond that arc and make it rain James.

Good stuff.

He scored like crazy in high school but it was primarily off-the-dribble/attacking the basket. It's really interesting to read he will now play primarily off-the-ball after spending all that time while he couldn't run working on his jump shot. It's very exciting that Gollon could give us another dangerous scoring option.

Here's another article from The Post. This one is about Dozier. His potential is sky high. Doesn't seem like he will have the impact Gollon will have this year. Encouraging to hear he has also put on healthy weight.
