OK, I missed the game on ESPN3 but looking at the stats, is this true?

43% at the free throw line?
Outscored 38-19 in the second half.
15% from three
Out-rebounded by a bunch
The veteran post player with a total of 2 points

???Five bench players with a total of 9 points in 66 combined minutes???

I recall some threads where people were convinced Saul had recruited quality depth plenty enough to compete. Anybody want to re-think that point of view?

After one bad loss, we've gone to this? Rethinking everything we thought about the team?

I was already on the side of questioning the recruiting (or not) of true quality D-1 college hoops depth.

Ohio Bobcats basketball with an arena like the Convo could be one of the top mid-major programs in the nation. I don't know if you ever look at the site "MidMajor Madness" but teams that are ranked that Ohio should be as good as includes MTSU, Missouri State, Old Dominion, Vermont, ETSU...and Ball State is even ranked. Nobody is insisting that the team be better than VCU and Wichita State and Creighton every year. But it can be better than what is about to happen this season. Struggling to get by an NAIA team?

Is that really the ceiling to expect for Ohio basketball?

It should not be the ceiling of expectations, but we're quickly forgetting about the good games they've played this year against Clemson, Western Kentucky, and Indiana State. Or how well they responded to losing Tony Campbell last year.

But moving forward he needs to bring in players that are at a minimum at the level of Kirk and Carter. Otherwise, what you end up with in a few years is a mid to bottom level MAC team. Teams like Ball State who beat #9 Notre Dame this season are going to step it up, so anybody else who is content with the status quo will get left behind.

How in the world did Louisville miss on signing the Green Cat? I mean that the Cats would be automatic sweet 16 team if the Cats would have qualified for.
