Saw him in a walking boot tonight. I don’t like that. Anyone know if he’s playing Saturday?

All I know is that it's never a good thing when your star player posts a tweet saying "All things happen for a reason", as Jason did on Tuesday...

I noticed in the exhibition on Saturday that he went back toward the locker room limping near the end of the game and never returned. It looked as if one of the student trainers went back to work with him as well. According to an article in The Post he is to have further evaluation done today about it.
I agree, not a good sign for him to be in a boot. Let's hope it is nothing serious. I don't even want to think about this season without him for an extended period of time.

I'd be less concerned about it if AJ and BVP weren't also on the mend in street clothes. At some point, the injury bug has got to go somewhere else, right?

Doesn't appear to be serious according the @thepostsports. Questionable for tomorrow. I'd like to think we can still win comfortably without him. I don't like playing only two post players, but A&M shouldn't pose matchup problems.

This is awesome. Poor Ellis has turned into Khadeem Green, TyQuane Goard and Ethan Jacobs for us. He seems to enjoy OU so he'll probably finish up his career with us and I'm ok with that. He seems like a positive dude.

On the JC side though, I am under the opinion that we're not getting an at-large bid anyways so really, who cares what wins we have in the non-league? I say hold Jason back as long as you can with BVP and AJ and let them all come back with a BANG! before MAC play. That will get Mickle and DT more time and yes, maybe even Dozier! I would also like to see Jaylin McDonald get some meaningful minutes, just to see what he can do. He always seems when he gets in to be at another skill level than the Frayers and Bissutis of the world.

One would hope he'd get at least 10 minutes tomorrow just because of the injuries. If he doesn't, it's telling.

First thoughts on Tony a year ago were nothing serious, should be back in a week or so. Hope this isn't history repeating itself.

from what Arkley wrote today, neither the coach nor anyone else is saying anything right now, as additional medical evaluation is being done. Certainly not a positive development...

Saul's body language in the Russ interview was not encouraging when Russ raised the issue of Carter's injury.

Great observation and I thought the same thing. Expect the worst and hope for the best on this one.

AJ and BVP are reportedly (high level sources, baby) suiting up at some point this month.

i gulped and then choked on the gulp air.

The lack of updates on Carter is worrisome. Without him our offense is a mess.

I tried to catch the radio postgame show but came in halfway through, so I don't know what Saul said initially about JC. Only thing I heard later was this line: "At some point we will get Jason back."

Anyone hear more than that?

Missed it...but as painful as it's going to be to watch this team without #1....no sense in playing him until he's 100%. And if that means January-February-March....so be it.

This injury made me think what if Jaaron stayed - how upsetting would that be - but then I looked and he only got ten minutes playing time today - yikes

Phillips said he didn't want it to turn into a Campbell situation. I don't know if that means it's the same injury or what, but I do think they're going to be very careful with it.

Saul has no manner of luck at all.

Time to sacrifice a chicken or something.
