toohotfidem_2Yesterday was a great day. In a tough battle against Nizhny Novgorod we came out victorious. Thank you for the love. 30pts 10/10 2pts 1/1 3pts and 7/7fts, 18 shots total without a miss. I have never seen anything like that, I couldn’t have done it without my teammates @antonponkrashov @qcolom10 @gabonbeast @t_lock24 the rest of the team and a great coaching staff. The facts remain that I am happier we won that game more than anything else because it showed our mental toughness and our ability to execute at a high level as a team while keeping our composure and our calm. It’s all about winning. On to next... #UnicsBasketball #UnicsTeam #VTBLeague

Remember when this program recruited players who could excel in elite international leagues?

Mo did a very nice job for us but I never felt like he "dominated" the league like he should have. Where was this pro athleticism and take-over-game-dom when he was with us? I remember Mo disappearing from some games? Don't get me wrong, he was a very good Bobcat and a model citizen but did he make more of an impact than Tone? Jason Carter in Year 1? Jaaron? I don't think so?

Doesn't help when the point guard is jacking up contested threes with 25 left on the shot clock.

Mo is a good example of something I can't get my head around re: the NBA. He played well when given the chance, but can't get a roster spot on any team? Seems odd to me.

"When given the chance" seemed to be against other end of the bench players. He didn't differentiate himself as someone who belonged in the regular rotation, and therefore, was expendable.
That opens up another question. Does anyone really think Mo and Richaun Holmes are the best MAC players since Kaman and Hunter? It seems the path to the NBA for a MAC player may not be to be an exceptional all-around player, but have an NBA body and do one or two things exceptionally well.

Carter deserved to be on the all-freshman team (which he was), but this is indeed a reach. He averaged 9.9 PPG and 6.5 RPG. That's not dominating any league.
He has the potential, but potential doesn't win games.

Nor does two coaches in two years.

I agree, the NBA has always thrived on big, durable, and specialized, unless you are heads and shoulders above the rest.

easily the most talented player on the floor every game. He didn't get the ball enough in my opinion. Think Bean may have had something to do with that.
