Way to go Bobcats. 10 of 16 from 3 point, that'll do!

Great win! I was watching the score on my iPhone as I watching the men in person. You know those kids (at heart) who can't put down their smartphones!

Purdue is now 2-2 against the MAC. Beat Central Michigan by 10 and Miami by 9 at the start of the year. Lost to Ball State by 6 recently.

I watched the game on the BTN.

Some memorable moments. Early in the game, with the score tied at 10, on two straight possessions, Ohio lobbed two ill-advised long passes that Purdue turned into quick baskets and led 15-10.

In my mind, that was the last time Ohio lost its poise. Purdue led, if I'm recalling correctly, 37-36 at the half.

Early in the second half, Ohio took the lead and didn't relinquish it.

Purdue owned the boards, but Ohio hounded Purdue into something like 33 turnovers (announcers mentioned more than once that Ohio leads the nation in the ratio of turnovers forced versus turnovers committed). And, yes, hounded is the appropriate verb.

Ohio's free throwing could stand a tad of improvement.

MAC Women's basketball is solid. It looks like the 8th rated league in most computers behind the Power 6 and the AAC. It isn't even that far behind the AAC even though UConn pulls the AAC average up.

A hard fought road win against a much more physical team.

Brian Agler, head coach of the WNBA LA Spurs got to watch his gutsy daughter Taylor (34 minutes, 4 assists, 4 steals) in person.

Is this team young or what? After senior Agler, the next 6 players with the most minutes were 3 frosh and 3 sophs.

3 frosh on the court near the end of the game:
CC Hooks- 15 points, 7 boards, 4 steals. Her back to back steals and lay-ins helped turn the tide.
Gabby Burris with 10 points and Alexis Stover, 12 points, 3 assists, 3 steals.

And solid efforts by 3 sophs:
Amani Burke, Trey’s little sis, led the way with 17 points.
Athens own Dominique Doseck with 10 points and Katie Barker with 7.

Congrats to Coach Boldon and the ladies for this signature win.

Boldon and his staff haven beaten more P5's than any other with four (Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Va. Tech) in five years. 'Cats only had one P5 win from 1996 - 2013, it was in 2010.

Here's an audio recap of last night with Boldon's post game interview
