Why is the Today show putting this guy on TV? gawd.

Matt Lauer would not have stood for this!

He was on the Today Show.

Apparently he said he only "took something" because his teammates did it first.

This kid has a lot of growing up to do.

Wonder how long it took the family's P.R. people to come up with this ?
I have a friend who is well connected with the UCLA program and according to him Ball's statement is complete malarkey.
My contact disputes it was malarkey. He said it was balderdash.

Another friend says it is poppycock.

My contact in LA informs me that both LiAngelo and younger brother are visiting Athens this weekend for the WKU game.

He wouldn't have locked the door for this, either.

Too soon?

That said, I do feel bad for the Ball children. Their papa is a nightmare.
Yes indeed, and American television continues to put him on the air.

DJ is probably in Europe getting a triple double, it’s time to retire his jersey.

He has though, right? I know in the first offseason after Europe I read he was taking classes. I thought he'd finished up.

Of course there's probably a little more to it than that. First off, besides graduation, he has to be available during the season to come have the jersey retired in person.

Another number that ought to be up there is Brandon Hunter.

Both brothers signed with a Lithuanian team. To steal a line from Mike Tyson, I hope they "fade into Bolivian."

This is going to be a huge step down. Apartments are typically European and quite Spartan. Gyms are smaller than Alexander and no weight rooms. They are shared with a variety of sports including make and female pro volleyball, team handball. They get a car, usually a small pugueot or Kia and a couple of meals a day ata restaurant that sponsors the team. (Qu here in America is presentite good in southern Switzerland, not so sure about Lithuania.,) I think Vegas will be accepting over under on how long they stay. Guarantee team manager will be ill prepared to deal with pops and may not take the abuse for long This is a small village in Europe. There is no bright lights there is no big city. There are no malls to steal stuff from. There is no posse to blow wind up their skirt. If they think they are going over there and all the hero hype we get in the states and all the ESPN cameras will be present y they are gonna have to rethink their approach to life, sports, hype and how life is lived in other places. I think it will be a disaster but maybe I'll be eating crow in a year

If you are eating crow, please invite me over to share in the delicacy. I don't think, though, that you'll have to worry about ordering an extra serving. ;-)
