I really like a lot of things about Doug but he can be really frustrating. The point about strong hands when grabbing a rebound is so true. And he needs to be stronger and quicker when going back up, maybe he just doesn't have the necessary athleticism. It's like someone needs to piss him off and make him play angrier and hungrier.
Careful...not allowed to criticize players on this board...especially DT.

The Bobcats actually outscored Kent and Akron in second half points alone and were only a basket down in second half scoring alone with Akron, which could easily be accounted for by the last minute decision to foul. Could it be that the Bobcats, despite their injuries, are proving themselves to be better conditioned than other teams, and is it possible that our deep rotation will make us more of a threat when it comes to tournament play?
I thought initially that the deep rotation was a good idea before the beginning of the MAC season, but was frustrated, injuries not withstanding, that Saul did not settle for a starting five and stick with them through a majority of the games. Could it be that Saul has given up on the idea of excelling in regular season play for the sake of preparing this team now for a deep tournament run?
I am also curious as to what is behind the Bobcats' first half woes. It reminds me of the fight game, where fighters either fail to warm up properly or are thus fighting so cautiously in the early going that they are not able to make up points when the end of the fight goes to the scorecards?
I am assuming that there is some reason that they are paying Saul the big bucks, and I don't believe for an instant that he doesn't have any answers to what is going on. After all, what coach shows their entire hand of cards?

A good one plays them all to best effect/betting every game. Per the MACC he is playing with an ongoing less than full deck....
