I implied nothing of the sort. You said this will be the weakest that Groce will be at Akron, I just pointed out that he has a track record of not keeping kids for four years so you have no idea if this will be the weakest he will be.

That's a valid point, but they just lost a proven and reliable coach along with a number of key pieces. I think it's safe to say this will be the weakest they'll be for a long time. Our coach is in year four, not year one.
Why is it safe to say this is the weakest they will be? Roughly 40% of the players he recruited to Ohio did not finish their careers here. How do you know that he will have a better retention rate at Akron?

I could be wrong, but those came from my memory of who stayed and who left. If Coleman was a TOS recruit, I am sorry and it goes to 36.363636363636% (which is still roughly 40% in my mind.)
You forgot Bassett, Offutt, and Jon Smith recruited and stayed.

The one thing that makes JG stand out is his 9-2 MAC tourney record and his wins in the NCAA. Groce knew that the regular season was basically useless as the league is a one bid league. I agree with some others as depending on how long Groce stays at Akron, this could very well be his worst team. The cupboard was empty when he arrived. Win three game in Cleveland and you are a hero. Maybe Saul will get this thing turned around and get hot in March?

Bassett most certainly did not stay, unless we had a hound dog mascot somewhere and that's what you meant.
