Probably set off a firestorm and garner certain resident BAers input saying things like "we used a bar set in tin cans full of cement" but this is pretty significant for recruits and athletes wanting to commit to getting better. Strength and agility is one of the keys, along with nutrition, for OUr athletes to get better and more competitive. Hang some weight on Nate next year. Still would be nice to have something in the Convo for light inseason lifts without having to bundle up heated bodies half way through practice to walk over to Peden and back to get lifts in. This is a pretty excellent upgrade to a dated weight room that all OHIO athletes will benefit in a big way.

It was intended for faculty,so we needed permission to use it.
I've been lifting since my Junior year of college.
Went through the "Universal" period, the "Nautilus" period among others.
I remember when they had machine that used water for weights.
(They were featured in American Flyers).
All that time I was purist.
Free weights, with limited machines (lats and pec mostly).
Nice to see free weights dominating the new weight room.
Although,in the interest of full disclosure, now,if I don't have a spotter at the gym,I do use machines.

I dealt with Rogue when I bought my Concept 2 Rowing machine as I could no longer run or do triathlons and got tired of getting fatter. Drove over to Columbus and met a great staff and excellent customer service. Counting the days till I can get back on following having both knees replaced.... till then I am going old school 15 minutes 4x a day.
