Dayton was down 1 with the ball at half-court with 1.9 seconds left. Lobbed the ball underneath to their center, who caught and scored with .1 seconds left. Else, the MAC would be 3-0 against the A-10. St Joe's (ranked #71 in KenPom) is supposed to be very good this year so that win by Toledo is a nice one.

I take personal enjoyment in Taylor Persons' Surrender Cobra. Had the whole student section chanting "Taylor sucks". As per usual, brought the other team back into the game when he thought we was James Harden.

Don't look now but Kent State is losing by double digits in the 2nd half to a winless Norfolk State team that just lost to DIII Lynchburg. This after North Florida picked up their first D1 win of the year against Eastern. The lack of experience in the MAC may be coming home to roost.

Kent w/o their best player, Walker, perhaps the best guard in the MAC.

Ball St. up by 9 in final minutes, Matt Farrell almost single-handedly brings ND back and hits a 3 pointer with about 15 seconds left to tie. Persons, who had the hot hand for Ball St., hits a contested 3 with about a second left to win. Ball State's first win in 9 tries v. ND.

I think the Pitt fanbase is realizing that Kevin Stallings is not the answer to their long-term health as a program. For them to have run off Jamie Dixon is rather foolish in my opinion, especially as he continues to win at TCU......

I'm not complaining - this year it's allowing me to get a good ticket to Pitt/UVA in the Pete.

FWIW: Xavier only had seven scholarship players available for the second half.
