that was a nice conversation. Tim O' was always pretty candid and made for a good interview I thought. We weren't as good as everyone hoped during his tenure, but we also had some good years and a couple amazing moments. He could have taken us to 12 NCAA tournaments, and he still wouldn't have been Larry in some people's eyes. In the end, the results were about the same. The time was probably right when he moved on, just as it was when Larry was fired. I've rooted for both after they left.
To many it had nothing to do with him NOT being Larry, many disliked him because he was simply him.

Congrats to Bryant that tos is retiring. Anytime you have a coach that makes 400k plus that can’t put together a team that could beat the top high school in the state complain about pressure and message boards is a victory. They don’t have to buy him out or continue to pay for mediocrity. Michigan fans went to the AD’s house, and he is complaining about a message board. If you want to play in the highest division and make the big money, than you need to perform. The students pay a general fee that goes towards athletics so they deserve to have a say, they are stakeholders.
If you listened to it, please tell me where in the interview is he "complaining" about a message board, rather than simply commenting.

I don't know where the rest of the rambling is going, because I don't see how it relates to O'Shea, or the posted interview at all.

We made it, guys.

All of this was worth it.

Shut'er down.

Also, I always thought it was strange the thinnest-skinned coach Ohio ever had was from the East Coast while our aw-shucks coach from Wisconsin lets everything beautifully become a self-depricating joke.

Just goes to show that you shouldn't judge people based on stereotypes.

Including, unfortunately, the on-court results.

Too soon?
