Team performance aside, has anyone wondered if an online-only Post has contributed to student attendance declines at Ohio? I'm all for saving paper and energy, but I did enjoy the daily ritual with The Post. I generally knew the basketball schedule, but many students certainly did not.

That's a shame. One of my favorite things to do was grab a Post before class or do the crossword to kill some time.

+1. I also always grabbed one upon arriving in town for a game day. Electronic everything isn't going away, but it doesn't mean it's better in all cases.

There was a lot of discussion about this when The Post announced it was going electronic, except for a "composite" Thursday issue.

Their reasoning for going electronic didn't make a lot of sense, given the fact that they give the paper away.

The paper was available on line and they could always post "breaking news" on their web site.

The main reason for going electronic seems to be that it takes pressure off by not having the same kind of deadline to "go to print".

I also always picked up a copy of The Post as soon as i got on campus for a visit.

Somebody should develop the Bobcat app that puts all sort of calendar updates in whatever one of those formats a student uses.

If the Ozone comes back will they read the post on their phones with their backs to the opponents and then throw their phones in the air?

But you'd still have to have enough interest to check out the app.

When I was at O.U. in the fall, there were a bunch of posters with the men's and women's B.B. schedules.

If they don't get students to games,I don't know that an app would.

Electronic Post or no electronic Post isn't going to get more students to games. The interest in this program on campus, in town and in the region is at an all-time low. Jim Schaus has a massive problem on his hands. #14Months
