Watched a little of the Buffalo / BG game . Buffalo can make some noise in the NCAA Tournament.
Why? Talented bigs, 3 pointer shooting, and overall nice game. Next year will be better for the Bobcats with more height and experience but the way to the NCAA's will run through Buffalo.

Every year we think that the best MAC team can make some noise and every year the MAC rep yacks in the NCAAs. I hope you’re right and Ohio makes some noise in the Big Dance (hey, it’s a sunny Saturday morning and I’m having a delicious cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee, so why not think optimistically 😁 ), but I think like every year since 2013 the MAC team this year will be a quick one-and-done.

But I agree with you, if any team can do it, Buffalo in theory can. But they haven’t been as dominant in the 2nd half of the MAC season as they were in the first. Let’s see if they can make it through the MAC Tourney unscathed.

Buffalo is a good team and is certainly capable of winning a game or two in the tournament, but the deck is stacked against that happening. They have no impressive wins outside of the conference and the MAC hasn't exactly lit the world on fire this year. That means a 13, 14 or even 15 seed for the MAC champion, which is an inevitably tough match-up. There's a reason it's been 15 years since a MAC team not called Ohio has won an NCAA game.

No way Buffalo would be a 15 seed. I'm guessing 13.
