Great stuff. Ball really was moving on those '75 teams
Looking at those from 75' I am amazed by the lines on the court at old Irving Gym. School of physical education used the gym daily and I remember many courts with lines painted but I would bet in the 351 schools in D1 now you would not find that much clutter. It was present in the gyms overseas as those hand every sport from team handball to Pro Volley painted on the court. We like a clean look for TV these days. "Branding"
The archives there are spectacular. I could spend days just looking at the old HS games they have archived. Helps to know many of the players and still see them occasionally. Seeing Ray McCallum, Bonzi, Chandler and his Pops over the last 24 hours we got to relive a few of the games from the archives.
For the record.... Chandler Thompson, Bonzi and Cedric VanLeer (Fiami) all Bearcats returned to coach Muncie Central this year as the school and program have fallen on hard times. Ray is home for his father's funeral but like all Bearcats, stopped in and visited.
