It was a rough, injury filled year. I’m not using one rough year and Jarron Simmons transfer to sentence this program to death by Bobcatattack firing squad.

Next year we will start 3 dudes who were all Mac as freshman and a vastly improved Doug Taylor. I am a Gollon convert and think he can hang with the SG/SF of this league. There’s reasons for optimism. Turn away from the dark side....

Or not. Regardless, at least we are all passionate fans.

I was amazed how small on offense Toledo's big man was. If someone could teach him to keep the ball up in the air and shoot an extended jump shot and/or a bit of a hook, he would be unstoppable. Great touch on his jump shot and foul shot but he shoots from about the chin when he's inside.

5633! That is the stated attendance in the box score for last nights MAC Championship. This from 2 schools located in urban cities within a couple hours driving distance to Cleveland. Both schools also the highest seeds and both had very successful regular seasons. And to boot MAC beat guru had pegged Buffalo as the best MAC program ever!

In spite of all that the 5633 attendance is just pathetic. Toledo on the cusp of its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1980 and Buffalo exhibiting clear MAC dominance and both fan bases can do no better than this for attendance. Really sad!

Hard to tell....13 seems right but hearing Greenberg and some talking heads this week they like Buffalo to win a game and feel they are overlooked with the calibre of their big and the guards. May garner a 12 if anyone is listening to the folks outside the room

Bracketmatrix.com consensus of all bracket sites has them as the 3rd 12 seed.

That would match them up against Clemson/Gonzaga/Kentucky/Ohio State. A game against either of those latter two teams would be very interesting.

I'd love an Ohio St.-Buffalo first-round matchup.
