I’m going to tie this to Sports, but does anyone have Bios on the OU board of trustees? A friend was telling me there were some that didn’t go to OU. Which begs the question....how many of them attend a game every year?

Does it matter? How many of them attend a music school performance or a dance school performance? Please explain your point.

By law a majority of OHIO trustees must be OHIO graduates. The last I looked OHIO was the only Buckeye State school that had this requirement. I believe it's been on the books dating way back to the 19th Century. Not sure why we were singled out this way.

Attending a game thing isn’t important. Just wanted to tie to Sports. I think it is crazy that a board member isn’t an Alum or atleast has a strong tie to the area

Not that they are very objective since they seem to approve everything presented to them but it's nice to have some folks who don't have an emotional attachment to the school so that hopefully there is some objectivity.

Yeah, this is simply a rubber stamp committee of yes people that has a status symbol next to the position.

And we've had a few "real winners" in the last 10 years - a pill doctor who shot himself, a school superintendent who oversaw school data rigging, and an attorney who said maybe students should forgo buying a pair of jeans or two so they could pay the tuition increase.

I'm with him on the pair of jeans comment, especially those who pay extra to have holes pre-ripped in the knees. ;-)

He was actually a she and a friend of the supt who oversaw the data debacle.

If you would have asked me this question in 2016, I would have been able to answer you at least two trustees, without a doubt go to multiple(2+)/lots of Ohio FB games. Only because I happened to know who they are(just 2 actually). Could have been more, I only knew two. And then I happened to see them at multiple games. Not sure who the others are, or how many trustees Ohio has.

Can't say much about trustees today, because I don't know any.

They should be listed w/pics on the new Peden and Convo video boards next year - then show which of them is actually in the house with live video - therefore calling out the "poseurs" NOT in the house.......
