Is it just me or are we starting to see some "team play" / "Saul Ball" ? Good to see some depth and rotation.
Players showing some chemistry. Kirk is of fun to watch. Anyone miss Simmons ? Gollon needed minutes to be valuable and in fact now is.

Agree with all these points. I also think we are playing with a lot more intensity, especially on defensive, but on offense as well. This team is beginning to jell, despite all of the injuries we've had to overcome. Maybe we can make a run in the MAC tournament.

(Imo) Gollon has kinda been a momentum builder in these past couple of games. His shooting has improved and he's getting even more confident. Also, he excels at the dribble and drive. I was at the Miami game and watching him play made me pretty happy. He also makes the plays that don't show up in the stat book

Agree on Gollon. I just exchanged texts with a big Bobcat fan who couldn't attend tonight's game because he's out of town at a conference. We were discussing how Gollon has developed and improved. I think he has the quickest hands on the team. He passes well Shoots well. And, hustles for rebounds and loose balls. He does provide some needed extra energy. My friend said that he had liked Gollon when he was recruited, and that his assessment is now shown to have been correct.

These minutes and games only will help this group as they move forward. I hate that we have to waste away the senior years of Laster and Mickle but the core coming back next year will (if healthy) will be mega experienced. Dartis will have four years of starting. Block will have 3 years of starting. Doug and Gollon have improved leaps and bounds from Game 1 to Game 27. Kirk and Butler have had the ball in their hands a ton. Throw in a MAC First Team Freshman Player in Carter and 5 unknowns with size and some outside shooting (Gareri, Vander Plas, Springs, Murrell and McMurray) and the team will be exciting. To think that we are several close games from being closer to .500 than we are.

How about winning a game in the Mac tournament to create some momentum for next year ?
It would send a message to the MAC this team will be very good.
