Good Job, Bobcats! Everyone appeared to be hustling. Perhaps, it is just my imagination, but I haven't seen the 'Cats move this fast all year.

They were very active on both ends of the court. It was good to see we had an answer every time BG chipped away at the lead and got it close to single digits. Many times it looked like BG was going to string together enough buckets to make it a game, but we got stops and extended the lead back out. I'd like to see this momentum carry on to Oxford and wherever we play in round 1. Good win!

Since Jimmy G has been in the starting lineup the team is 3 and 1. Coincidence?
James has done a great job. And that only makes next year even brighter. We already knew our core of Darty, Doug, Carter, Block and Kirk was back. Then you throw in experience with Butler and now Gollon. That's seven regulars back and you would hope that any one or two of BVP, Gareri, Springs, McMurray and Murrell can step up and suddenly we have depth! A starting lineup of Kirk, Dartis, Carter, Block and Gollon should be the most experienced in the MAC next year. Then imagine you've got Doug coming off the bench! I know it's a long time to get to that but it has to make you optimistic if injuries stay away!

I think maybe for the first time all season I saw a team that just looks confident in what they are doing. The ball was moving well, the defense was playing great and didn't get down when BG made a little run behind Wiggins, and everyone who stepped on the floor made a contribution towards the win.

It's a good way to be heading into the tournament. Let's finish it out with a win over Miami and see what happens in do or die time.

Good game aided by an absolutely atrocious night of outside shooting from BG. I think at least part of it is a credit to our perimeter D.

It is clear to me that coach has made a conscious effort to promote passing and ball movement since the early part of the MAC season. The start of the game had so many easy baskets set up by nice passes. Kirk had a few moments where I've grown accustom to him putting it up but he instead dished for an easy bucket. We took smart shots and passed when we didn't have it, I really liked that.

The rise of James Gollon the past couple weeks has been meteoric...he played 35 minutes last night! I was beginning to think he was going to just have a career as a solid role player coming off the bench but it is clear he is a big part of our next 2 years. He plays good defense, and as OCF pointed out that hustle play out of bounds was absolutely incredible.

Big time fail by the 110 to loudly play over the substitutions of Laster & Mickle on senior night. The arena and team was trying hard to show their support but the band totally killed the moment. I know they have their protocol but I don't know how you don't understand that moment.

Allow me to be optimistic here, but a healthy Jason Carter (who let me remind you is an absolutely incredible player) to go with Doug (who has impressed the last month or so), with Dartis & Kirk in the backcourt and Gollon/Block mixed in on the wing is the start of a great team in my mind.

Dilly Dilly.

After the last 4 games I'm more hopeful the return of Carter and the natural improvement of younger teams from year to year get us back to contending with the top teams (Toledo/Buffalo).

Always great to get a convincing win from start to finish, but boy, did they first ten minutes really look like two teams that were really anxious for the game/season to be over. Whole lotta empty possessions and quick trips up and back the floor to start the game, nice to see both teams actually show some compete as the game progressed.

I know it's more popular sometimes to poop on the team when they're down, but take a step back and look at where this group is right now and what they have endured this season with injury issues. With all the lost and limited minutes from expected contributors, a couple of bizarre plays (missed layup at Kent, banked in three at home vs Central, narrow loss at Kron) from being over .500 in the conference and being in the upper third of the league. This group has toughness, has fight, and didn't quit when things got tough, like some posters here did.

Both Marty on the broadcast and Saul in his post game presser kind of broke down all this group has been through in the past 1.5 years and praised the work they've put in. The fact that they're peaking at the right moment is a testament to the toughness the kids have and the belief they have in the system.
