I dunno. This actually seems more transparent and better handled than the usual approach. Everybody knows he's interviewing, so what's the point of pretending otherwise?

I mean, look how poorly Albin handled the exact same timing challenge. Should Wade have pretended to have a sick dog?

Unreal performance from McNeese last night. I know it was a 2-point game at the end, but that doesn’t come close to doing justice to the clinic they put on Clemson.

Some of those dudes out there looked like P5 athletes…Shumate, Murray, Copeland…they’d completely unguardable for us. Reminded me of a classic Kent team that just gets after it relentlessly, but better.

Will Wade is CBB’s Lane Kiffin, I actually appreciate his candidness here on accepting the job and what it means for current players. The fact that he told some the goal was P5 and they’d come with him is a helluva a pitch. Like him or not, he’s built for this era of college hoops.

Can we just let the "sick dog" thing go? We don't know the personal situation Coach Albin was going through at the time.

Jeff - In fairness, you don't know the personal situation coach O'Shea was going thru at the time either. Maybe he had a sick parent to care for or just genuine crippling home sickness. This is not an argument to stop doing "TOS to"...it's an argument to not overthink things and embrace humor.

Jeff - In fairness, you don't know the personal situation coach O'Shea was going thru at the time either. Maybe he had a sick parent to care for or just genuine crippling home sickness. This is not an argument to stop doing "TOS to"...it's an argument to not overthink things and embrace humor.

Yeah he was already announced to NC State before the tournament even started.
