Why don’t we concentrate on the three-point line against these guys?
That’s it, boys, stand in the lane and leave the best three-point shooting team in the conference wide open.
Can we not have a good set play out at this time out and get a damn basket? We simply have no lead out there.
Boals basically never runs set plays.
This seems to be the case.
On a similar note, I was remarking earlier in the game to another Ohio fan via a text that I remember that when a star player on the other team got three fouls Jim Snyder would often design plays that would create matchups that would bait the other player into fouling. It often worked. I said that I never remember Boals trying that. My friend wryly replied, "But their subs played better than Elmer." To which, I replied, "Well, in that case, it wouldn't work." But, my point still stands, why not try this kind of thing every now and then.
