No coach in America has it easier than Boals when it comes to not having to answer questions about his program.
This isn't a media issue. Coaches generally don't share injury details even when asked.
I do wish, however, that a media member would ask him about the multiple player/coach behavior issues during postgame handshakes. Somebody needs to be called out and punished.
I get that. But there isn’t even anyone to ask the simple question…”Coach…will JJ Kelly be available for Miami?” It’s up to Boals to decide how he wants to answer that question. But he never even has to worry about getting the question.
Can you imagine Bill Self not getting one question about Darryn Peterson and his availability every game? And I’m not comparing these situations, but you know what I mean.
Boals never has to address anything about the program in the media…ever.
