Just read the Blue Ribbon entry for ISU, and boy do they sound like a tough team. The team grades are as follows: Backcourt, A; Frontcourt, B+; Bench/Depth, A-; and Intangibles, A. One player that stood out to me was Jack Daughtery, a 6-8 starting forward who shoots 3s and had 59 last year. He only averages 6.3 ppg, but ranked second on the team for 3-pointers and has an overall shooting percentage of 47.3. This just looks to me to be the kind of tall, lanky, outside shooter that might give us fits.

Ohio's grades, by comparison are: Backcourt, B; Frontcourt, B; Bench/Depth B+; and Intangibles, B+.

So, we are ranked a little lower than ISU, but the game is in our house, so it could be competitive. Let's get that first win. Go OHIO!

Long feature story on Ryan Pedon and the Redbirds program in the Dispatch a couple of days ago but no mention by the Columbus writer that said team would be playing down the road in Athens a few nights later. Today's journalism, SMH.

Also, do we get out rebounded because we miss so many FTs? Take those 6 misses and the rebound numbers are pretty similar

+1 on Connors. Really thought he was just a catch and shoot guy.

Doesn’t seem like we’ll see Breath and Simmons on the court at once. Appears to be 1 for 1 sub there.

Please get it straight. It bugged me when I saw my name spelled with an "ERS" and it probably bugs Dior when you spell his "ORS".

Now that we’ve had 6 quarters to digest, how we feeling about the new floor?

I thought I would hate the dark / light changes within the 3 point area, but I think I kinda like it…? Or am indifferent cause it’s fine… I like the paw and the wood grain green. I would’ve just kept that.

I love it on tv but haven’t seen it in person yet. I’ll fall into the “fan” category
