And the Golden Flashes were eliminated 6-3. The loser of the Ohio-Western Michigan game will play Bowling Green tomorrow at 1 p.m.

On the other side of the bracket #8 Akron sent #1 CMU to the losers bracket. #5 Ball State pulled the mild upset of #4 Toledo.

Ohio is the only top seeded team to win in the tournament so far.

Ty Black adds one more HR in the 11th and Ohio wins 4-1. Cozart pitched 6 innings of scoreless relief after Rudnicki was solid for 5+.

Bobcats get tomorrow off. They will play at 9:30 a.m. Saturday against the WMU-BG winner for a spot in the championship. The Falcons or Broncos will have to beat the Bobcats twice.

What a great game vs Western ! Both teams were tied at 1 to 1 into the 11th! Western had the winning run in scoring position three innings in a row at the end but Cozart would not allow his team to lose and closed the door. Solid defense by everyone, and a great catch in left by Longo to save the bacon !
What a cool venue for baseball ! Great areas to stand and/or move around to watch from many angles. All theater type seating, plus a grassy hill in left for over-flow. A great facility!
