The Bobcats had a nice road win against an SEC team. I don't know how good they'll be this year, but the Wildcats were in the NCAA tournament last year.

This week, Ohio dropped 2 of 3 in its pseudo home-opening series (at Chillicothe) against Siena. That seemed a bit disappointing but this was a good bounce back.

MAC play opens this weekend with the Bobcats going to Central Michigan.

Hell yes, great way to lead in to MAC play. Jeremy Cronk got absolutely torched in the 6th inning but that was about the only dark spot in the game that was otherwise easily controlled.

Speaking of, who had the great idea of starting MAC play in damn near Canada? Luckily it looks like it should be playable, just a tad chilled.

This weekend will be a real test. CMU might be the best team in the MAC this year.

Pack the cold weather gear as it will be chilly up in Michigan. Hope the Cats can continue their good play this spring.
The new indoor facility has proven its worth to me already.
