Rough weekend last week at Georgia State with a sweep, but 2 of the 3 were close. Then took defending ACC champion Georgia Tech 12 innings before falling 7-6 (Bobcats used 9 pitchers in the first 9 innings).
Swept the doubleheader today against Ill-Chicago to move to 8-4. Can't wait to see how things go in MAC play.

I watched the first game today. Very impressed with the defense, relief pitching and overall team chemistry. Coach is doing a great job turning this around.

Ohio added one more win today for the series sweep. The Bobcats are supposed to play at Morehead State on Tuesday and then host Siena in a weekend series, but although it's supposed to warm up this week, it doesn't seem field conditions will be playable.

Saw the game today. Nice timely hitting, and great pitching through 8 innings.
A little dicey in the ninth, but they got the job done. Sat with a few of the player's families and the support is nice. Keep up the good work.

9 wins already, only 11 all of last year. Might surpass 11 by next week at this time. Great start.

Ohio's RPI is really good according to this site:
http://www.boydsworld.com/baseball/rpi/currentrpi.html
Opponents don't have great records but they have won games against other foes. And of course, these games have been away or neutral games.

A win over the Yellowjackets would have been nice. My dad grew up with the Ga Tech head coach, Danny Hall. We're from the same hometown, the booming metropolis of Coolville.
