I especially like at 3:20 when the guy yells "get out of here you big baby." Also, props to the team for playing "Big Girls Don't Cry" when he's leaving.

It looks like the player deliberately did some dance around home plate. It wasn't some inadvertent miss. What a moron.

Embarrassing. The umpire gave Carbone a lot of rope, I thought. Ol' Joe seemed to get in the dude's face pretty quick. Thought he could intimidate the ump?

Sure wish the videographer had just recorded the whole thing in one take instead of cutting straight to Joe arguing with the ump, oh well...

Growlers are 15-28, 3rd worst record in the league out of 18 teams.

No truth to the rumors Carbone is trying to schedule weekend series with Ohio Weslyan to get his record back up to .500 and become the all time winningest coach in Growlers history.

I dropped my 8 year old son off at a small indoor spring camp this past weekend at a baseball academy in Columbus. They introduced the fielding instructor, Joe Carbone which caused a double take from me. I did not see that coming.

He worked intently and closely with the kids. Say what you want about him (I know I have in the past), but I thought it was pretty cool he was taking the time to do that.

Andrew Ruck, I went with a friend of mine when he took his 7th grader to a baseball clinic, practice session a couple weeks ago near Dublin. To my surprise Joe Carbone was one of the instructors. We watched the session and Coach Carbone did a great job with a large group of kids, teaching infield play, heavy on the fundamentals. My friend was a very good college player back in his day, and he was very pleased with the help that his youngster was getting at this clinic. Fun to watch young kids absorb fundamentals and improve!

People can say what they want, but Joe is a great teacher of the game and a great ambassador of the game. Defiantly what he is best at.
