No, when you made the post, it was an accurate opinion at that point in the season.
I would say I disagree, baseball is a long season with many ups and downs. All a team needs is a spot in the tournament and anything can happen. To call them a bust less than a month ago was a hot take to make before you even knew how it could play out.

Reminds me of the naysayers against the Cavs.

I also want to mention that Coach Smith has a special ability to elevate his players when it matters most, something that was obviously lacking in previous years.

A "bust" sounds a bit final, a little different than saying it has been disappointing or underwhelming. It definitely feels better when your team reaches the promise land if you never gave up on them along the way.

I never gave up on them, I continued to go to games and follow them. I was just stating a fact at that point of the season. I like the coach and the players and had higher expectations then what was being produced.
