Saw it, Ted. May be tip of the spear man. It is an interesting time. The good old NCAA probably happy to see the "have nots" taking a nosedive. Every cut moves closer to the P5 creating a boring NCAA world at the D-1 level.

I believe now only Ball State, Kent State, Northern Illinois and Miami have more than the six required men's programs to be Division I.

You need 6 sports if you have at least 8 women’s sports or 7 and 7. But hey, what would I know about the NCAA. All MAC schools are compliant in membership status.

And now it is back, reinstated with the help of private funds. Very cool that they were able to pull this off...but also feels like it is prolonging the inevitable.

What inevitability are you talking about? Demise of college baseball? The bankruptcy of BG? The state's decision to bulldoze the campus because of its utter ugliness? ;-)
