Right in the middle of the 11 teams by vote of coaches. Based on numbers, it seems there's three sets of teams.
Top tier: 1. Central Michigan (3) – 109 points; 2. Kent State (2) – 106 points; 3. Ball State (3) -- 105 points 4. Miami (2) – 93 points
Middle tier: 5. Northern Illinois (1) – 68 points 6. Ohio – 67 points; 7. Western Michigan – 57 points
Bottom tier: 8. Eastern Michigan – 38 points; 9. Toledo – 33 points; 10. Bowling Green – 30 points; 11. Akron – 20 points

The Bobcats obviously have to be able to figure out more offensive production this year after losing the two-time MAC player of the year, but I think just about every other offensive guy is back. Most pitchers back too but need lots of improvement. Season starts tomorrow.

Our schedule will take care of offensive production, hitters are a year older and more experienced. Going to be a good year.

I feel that way too. The team really only lost two or three contributors combined between hitting and pitching. As young as the team was last year, it still managed to be in the middle of the MAC. This year should be better.

While I agree we should see steps forward in a lot of returners, it is hard for me to think we'll see the offense improve when you lose someone like Rudy.

Excited for opening day today!

Anybody know if we will get streaming coverage via ESPN+ all season? I enjoyed being able to get a solid feed all weekend.
