In the 9th round. If memory serves, another former Bobcat had a HOF career for Philly. Congrats and good luck, Rudy!

About as good as we could've hoped for, I was expecting somewhere in the teens. Can't wait to follow his career. Much like Marc Krauss & Mitch Longo before him...he will need to develop his power a bit more and control the strike zone to make his way thru the minors.

I don't see him in action yet.
Expect he would go to Williamsport Crosscutters of New York Penn short season league.
Therefore he would have some games in Niles, Ohio versus the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
Is it possible he didn't sign a contact with the Phillies yet?.

His name shows up on the Crosscutters roster now. They have a series versus Batavia this weekend.

He has been playing. Off to a slow start in his firs four games. 2 for 14 with an RBI, three walks and four strikeouts, but I'm sure there will be a learning curve and he'll get it going soon. His team is at Mahoning Valley from July 7-9.

He got things going the more he played. Finished .233/.309/.296. He hit one home run. His average increased each month. He hit .314 over his last 10 games.

He has to find more power or he won't advance up much.
