I'm not sure Kutt has ever pitched so poorly and the defense didn't help.

Bobcats bounced back big Saturday, winning 21-6 in 7 innings. Bobcats scored 11 runs in the 4th inning. One BG pitcher gave up 7 runs in 1-3 inning, another 3 runs in 1-3 inning, and later, a guy gave up 5 runs without recording an out. Ohio finished the game with 17 hits and 11 walks.

Unfortunately, the last two games of the series were canceled. With BG's lack of pitching, that's probably two wins Ohio had taken away.

Ohio goes to Central Michigan this weekend. The Chippewas are off to a 5-1 start in the MAC, splitting two games against Kent State (the loss was 1-0) and sweeping Miami.

21-6 with 11 walks? My Gawd, that sounds horrendously boring! Glad we were on the good side of the leger though.

Those 2 wins could be huge down the stretch. By no means were they a lock in the W column but would rather have seen how they played out.

The split is devastating enough but the cancellation really stings. The randomness of how many games get played and against who is a really crappy reality of college baseball.

Especially with the way the MAC does the tournament now. Only the top 4 get in. I guess that's better than no tournament at all.
