Kind of surprised that this hasn't been posted here (ok not really surprised now that I think about it), maybe its against admin rules?

Either way, want to share the link to the baseball team's fundraising campaign. It looks like some effort was put into getting this kicked off but obviously this program needs every dollar they can generate.

Please consider donating regardless of your affiliation with Ohio Baseball. These kids sacrifice so much to wear arch OHIO so anything you can put forth to help enhance their experience will go a long way.

The squad is off to a good start to the year, let's keep the momentum going with a successful fundraiser!

Yeah, that seems to be the new thing for our teams. Baseball is not the only one doing this currently.

Does OU no longer have a deal with a glove company? That $300 isn't far off from what I'd pay to buy a top-end glove for myself.

Good question, the most recent deal I had knowledge of was with Louisville Slugger TPX. That was prior to the apparel switch to Adidas so I'm not sure if Adidas is providing gloves now or strictly apparel.

Either way I think that $300 is a bogus number that they are using to help drive donations. Kind of like a benchmark for potential donors to use to gauge how much they would like to give.

Went through some recent photos on the website and it doesn't look like they have a glove deal. Unless they don't use the team issued gloves, I didn't notice any brand that is used by all.
