If you went yesterday, consider yourelf blessed. What a game. Starter gets rocked, then Brenden Roder comes in in the 2nd and gets the game to the 9th with no earned runs allowed while the Bobcats chip away and go ahead with a HR in the bottom of the 8th. What a gem of a win.

Gamer winner HR hit by AJ Ruasch who is off to quite a nice start for a freshman.
Have to imagine Roder gets a start next weekend after that performance. If he can maintain some level of effectiveness to add to Kutt & Tate, you gotta feel pretty good about that trio of starters.

Heading to BG this weekend...biggest hurdle there is the weather holding up to get all 4 in against a truly terrible team. Would love to be sitting at 8-2 in a week.

Ohio scored 9, 7, 16 and 8 runs this weekend. Kent State might not be as good as usual but it's still very encouraging. At Bowling Green this weekend, a series Ohio really needs to sweep. The Falcons are 2-14 and have lost 13 in a row. Their pitching has been terrible (10.54 ERA).
