Ohio split a doubleheader with Northern Illinois on Friday, which started with temps in the 60s. The rest of the series is canceled because of snow.

Bobcats won the opener 10-2 in 7 innings with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs from Spencer Harbert, who had been struggling badly. Kutt was good on the mound, striking out 7 in 7 innings.

Huskies won the second game 9-4. Starter Braxton Kelly struggled. Ohio had 10 hits, including 3 by Finney and 2 by Baker, which is at least encourage. He had only 1 in 28 at-bats before that.

Marshall comes to Athens on Wednesday and then Kent State over the weekend. Weather looks a lot better this week.

Wish they could've went with Tate on Friday in anticipation of the cancellation on Sunday. This team needs 1 or 2 guys to step up and prove to be a reliable starter if we want to make a run towards the top of the MAC standings.
