Especially nowadays, it is really hard to judge a schedule as teams can move up and down so much in mid-major baseball. As far as the MAC slate, it seems like after a nice easy start with NIU we get drilled with 4 tough ones before the final 5 are on the easier side. I honestly like how that sets up. Get a confidence builder, get humbled a bit, hopefully finish strong going into the tourney.

Non-Conference is harder than it looks. The first 3 opponents are all solid programs. Campbell won 46 games last year including 2 in the NCAA tourney. Lipscomb also made the tourney. And of course that trip to V Tech in the middle of the MAC slate will be a challenge.

Hope the weather is good in Athens those first 17 days of March (10 home games).

I like this schedule a lot, the non-con slate is a nice challenge with some W's out there against quality programs. I'm not a huge fan of mid-majors stacking their early season with big P5 power houses, I don't see the point of going down there to get swept and lose games 23-2.

Lipscomb is a very nice facility, hope they get some warmer temps because I remember playing in the snow at Belmont to open up season before, not ideal.

Ugh, baseball in the snow sounds awful. Excited for this season as I agree we have a strong schedule. Can't wait to be back in Wren!
