So I'm trying to figure this out. MAC Tourney takes the top 8 teams (at least top 2 of each division), correct?

With us currently at 7-14 in the league, we are currently 10th. We need to obviously win a lot, and have Ball State and Bowling Green lose.

Good news is we got Akron coming to town who is 5-16 in the league. Also good news is that Kent St (17-4) is going to Bowling Green (10-11). So BG dropping 3 is a real good possibility. Ball State (8-12) is traveling to NIU who is 12-9 in the league. Also in our favor.

Basically, this is a do or die weekend. We need to come up big and get at least 2, because then Miami (14-7) coming to Athens next weekend. Ball State will host Toledo (13-8) next weekend and BG will be at Buffalo (2-18).

So at least this weekend, not only am I pulling for the Cats, but I'm going to be a huge Falcons and Cardinals fan this weekend.

If we can get into the tourney, who knows what can happen

The top 3 of each division plus the next 2 best winning percentage teams make up the 8 team tournament. Currently, Ohio is 3 back of Bowling Green. The Bobcats lose the head to head tiebreaks with Ball State and WMU, but has the breaker with the Falcons. This is a huge weekend for Ohio's tournament hopes.

Grant and I will have all the action on WOUB-AM and OhioBobcats.com. We will be gametracking BG and Kent, and the rest of the sets.

Season's practically done after losing 13-3 to the Zips. How terribly disappointing. Losing to Buffalo and Akron is quite simply, unacceptable.

To make the tournament as the #8 seed I think we would have to sweep Miami. and buffalo would have to sweep bgsu. and northern illinios would have to sweep western michigan.

Wow, BG dodges a bullet Sunday by not having to play Kent State. That would have most certainly been a loss putting them at 10-14 while we have 9-15 Record. We could have only been one game back from 3rd place.

This is absolute crap.

For what its worth.

Western won today so I believe we are now mathematically eliminated from the tournament.
