Close game again today. Ball State had the chance to at least tie it up in the 9th but OU held on for a 5-4 victory they can win the series sunday at 1pm. They then play 1 @Pitt (Kent St and Akron have both already beat Pitt) so hopefully a streak begins.

It's interesting that the pitching and hitting have basically reversed roles over the past about 7 to 10 games or so.
The pitchers have not given up more than 4 runs in 6 straight games - that's runs, not earned runs. That is really impressive considering we have committed 42 errors in 23 games.
Team ERA has dropped to a pretty decent 4.26. Unfortunately, team hitting has dipped to a paltry .247 with no player hitting over .300 who has the required ABs.
If the pitching can keep up, we should win more games than we lose. Let's hope the sticks wake up soon.
