All right, So we split down in Davidson.  Not bad.  Took wins away from LeHigh and Lafayette, and lost to Davidson and LeHigh.

Game #1 15-8 win over LeHigh.

Seth Streich went 4-6 3rbi, 2 doubles, 2 runs

Taylor Emody went 3-5 with 5RBI!

Nice to see the bats come out and bang out 16 hits.  What is amazing is LeHigh had 15 hits and they left 13 guys on base, while we did leave 11 on base.

We allowed 8 runs but only 4 were earned.  3 Errors hurt us.  

Game #2 2-1 loss to Davidson

Seth Steich pitching oustanding.  7IP, allowed 2 hits no runs.  9k's to 4 walks.  Then Jason Moulton lost the game in the 8th and 9th.  Steich left the game after the 7th and would have been the winning pitcher.  Nothing amazing happened offensively here.  We did have 3 more errors again.

Game #3 Win over Lafayette 8-4

Taylor Emody went 4-4 and Streich went 3-4.  Another 4 errors, which resulted in Lafayette only scoring 1 earned run.  Bobcats both had solid pitching performances by matt Robin and Tyler Stage.

Game #4 loss to Lehigh 8-7

Once  again the Bobcats had 4 errors.  only 3 of Lehigh's 8 runs were earned.

Trace Voshell went 4-5 and Streich and Emody had 2 hits a piece as well as Bryan Barnes.

Some things that stick out to me:

Our opponents scored 22 runs on us this weekend.  Only 10 were earned.  That's 12 runs unearned.  We had 14 errors over the weekend.

This season we have committed a total of 19 Errors this season to our opponents 5.  This has to change and fast. 

Thus far Emody, Streich, and Voshell are mashing.  Look for Emody at the end of the year.  We might have another MAC Freshmen of the Year on our hands.  He's hitting .481 after his first 2 D1 series?  Are you serious?  Streich is only a Sophomore.  This kid might be a legitimate prospect.  Here's hoping these guys don't transfer.

Note:  Opponents are 12-13 in steals on us this year.  If this doesn't change, it is going to turn into a track meet when we're on defense.

Streich's brother took off early from West Virginia when he got drafted.  Expect Seth to do the same.  Get the most out of him while you can - he'll be drafted after next year.
