Good game by Cats to start the weekend!! Quality start by Backstrom - 4.1 innings 1 earned run. Defense let him down a little early in the game, allowing 4 unearned runs. Good offensive showing, scoring 15 runs on 16 hits. 4 hits and 3 RBIs for Streich and 3 hits and 5 RBIs for Emody. Final score 15 - 8

Good day for the MAC. Toledo beats #16 Louisville. Miami beats West Virginia.

Earlier in the week Miami beat Kentucky. And Kent St beat #21 Georgia Tech.
