Well the good news is that, judging by the basketball hire, there is no chance they just give it to Andrew See or anyone else currently on staff. I mean, if the AD is against promoting within a guy who is basically the same age, but the team he coaches is actually good, I can't imagine him signing off with baseball.

I wouldn't be surprised if Schaus already has a coach all but signed.
