I am a fan of both Ohio and Otterbein so I find it interesting that Ohio schedules Otterbein it seems like every other year. I know it is not uncommon to schedule d3 schools in baseball and some years like last year with all the cancellations you need to fit in a game.  Still does anyone know of a personal connection between Coach Carbone and  anyone at Otterbein ? I am guessing he must be friends with the Card's coach . I don't think it is because of the A.D.  their because he has retired after 40 year of coaching and serving as a.d.

they are suppose to be easy D3 wins, and Ohio doesn't have to leave home to do it.

that is the only reason.

There is strong connection between baseball program at Otterbein and Ohio.  The long time coach at Otterbein is a Bobcat, and played for Coach Wren back in the day.  He remained "close" to the Ohio program during his great career at Otterbein and was friends not only with Coach  Wren, but also Coach Carbone.  (Dick Fishbaugh)

Well big bad Otterbein rolls into town tonight. Hopefully it can snap a 3-game skid.
