In may it's .333 - 4 - 16 - 1.014

I figure a promotion to AAA is likely.

He has not slowed down and is heading for a Southern League MVP if he sticks around AA much longer.

.301 BA (5th)
.424 OBP (1st)
.529 SLUG (2nd)
11 HRs (4th)
25 Doubles (2nd)
53 Walks (1st)
60 Runs (1st)
48 RBI (3rd)

His team (Mobile) has arguably the 3 best power hitters in the league this season with Krauss, Matt Davidson, & Alfredo Marte...so I don't know if he is benefitting from a good lineup...But the Southern League is typically NOT a hitters league.

I wouldn't be surprised if they let him play out the season in Mobile, send him to the Arizona Fall League, and start him off in AAA before bringing him up when a need presents itself in 2013.

I never really got to see him play baseball, but I saw him his senior year of high school in a playoff football game. He was an absolutely dominant wide receiver on a state championship team. He's just a very impressive athlete overall.

The award probably didn't exist then.

I was at the Bay Bears game the other night and accidentally found out there was a Bobcat on our hometown team. I had no idea whatsoever. Yes, he's tearing up the Southern League.

We also now have Billy Hamilton, the base stealer, next door at Pensacola (Reds). Just got called up from A ball.

The summer suddenly got very interesting for me.
